We set up SOWN as a dedicated division within the LRG because we believe that shared ownership is the future. Our mission is to empower buyers and organisations alike, guiding them towards their homeownership goals with expertise and care.

SOWN provides a full sales and marketing service on behalf of housing associations across the UK, for both new-build and re-sale homes. Our specialist team focuses exclusively on shared ownership, which allows us to truly understand the customer journey and give the shared ownership market the attention it deserves.

An expert setup

Our secret to getting shared ownership right is setting up dedicated teams for every stage of the process. Our pre-sales team handles all enquiries, which are then passed onto the move managers (who progress sales). We also have specialist in-house mortgage brokers.

For the housing associations, registered providers and local councils we work with, we seamlessly integrate with your teams, adding to your capabilities. Think of us as an extension of your team, running on smooth communication and transparent reporting every step of the way.

I just wanted to say a proper thank you to you, Natalie Painter (not in the chain loop) for the help on this one. I know Dylan and Emma are frustrated with me and I feel awful. Regardless of whether they’re annoyed or not they’re still my favourite clients! You really have gone above and beyond and it’s so gratefully appreciated. I find it difficult to chase as many times as I would like to, purely due to the amount of other clients I have to deal with. This case alone could be a full time job in itself. Never mind the three sets of people I have moving home today who have to be my priority on the day, and the other calls / emails I have looking for updates. So, truly, honestly, thank you! During what was the most stressful 15 months - dealing with a difficult buyer and a complex selling process — Gemma was a constant bright light of hope throughout. Her down-to-earth approach made all the difference. Without it, we would have felt at sea without a paddle. Gemma stuck with us through every twist and turn, consistently going above and beyond, often working late to ensure negotiations were prioritised. As a mum herself, she brought empathy and genuine care to every conversation. I always felt understood and knew she had our best interests at heart. As a result of her hard work, we are now able to move on as a family and start our lives properly together. Our only regret is that we never had the chance to meet her in person.
